Forced Labour
Avaria addresses the issue of forced labour by following the below practices:
- Have a clear and transparent company policy, setting out the measures taken to prevent forced labour and trafficking. Clearly communicating that the policy applies to all involved in the production and sale of our products.
- Ensure that all workers have written contracts, in language that they can easily understand, specifying their rights regarding payment of wages, overtime, retention of identity documents, and other issues related to preventing forced labour.
- If identified, immediately cease all dealings with any entity that is in breach of forced labour practices as outlined by the ILO (International Labor Organisation).
